Shanghai - November 10 - "We have an agent working on getting export into China ready, so we are looking to work with other countries," explained Kelly Moon, assistant manager for the overseas sales department of Buheung Medical Co., Ltd., at the Asia Electronics Expo Shanghai today. His company is producing three different health and beauty aids, the FreeQ, the FreeM, and the Airobix. Each are small devices which one attaches to the body in order to relieve pain, stimulate muscle growth, promote metabolism, and create better blood circulation.
These products are already well-known internationally. The FreeM, which is designed to give a high-speed cyclone massage and electrically stimulate an area of the body, has been the number one best seller in Japan for three years straight. Over 7,000 Korean hospitals use the FreeM to relieve pain in patients with chronic muscle pains.
Kelly Moon said that ideally his company will meet many buyers from the US, India, and Europe, and make agreements with two or three of them. That will sufficiently expand their business to their satisfaction. The company is definitely looking forward to the Buyer's Conference that begins on the 12th. Although this is their first time participating in this show, they are already impressed. "It is better than I expected," said Kelly.
The company has run into some small snags when exporting their products overseas, about whether to classify them as health and beauty products or medical products. However, they have received a large number of certifications from different electronics regulatory bodies in order to expedite all the legal procedures that they anticipate. They are well-prepared for international business.
