According to rumors, Samsung Galaxy S7 and the Galaxy S7 edge are expected to come sooner.
This article will take a look at some of information we’ve heard so far. So, read up and get ready for welcoming S7.
“Leaked” branding information obtained by proven smartphone intel source @evleaks indicates that Samsung intends to release two curved-screen S7 variants — the edge and S7 edge+ — alongside a conventional, flat-screen Galaxy S7 handset. As Samsung’s S6 lineup have released at once from a year ago, the S7 will also be released at once.
Design
According to Sammobile, the screen sizes are expected that both the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge will pack 5.1-inch displays. The S7 edge+ will have a larger 5.5-inch screen. In terms of looks, the Galaxy S7 will not be so much different from the Galaxy S6 design. For the colors, it is expected for us to see the weird mirror-green and gold colors like the S6.
Touch display and pressure-sensitive
Reported by Wall Street Journal, Samsung’s Galaxy S7 series are expected to be come up with a pressure-sensitive display, similar to what Apple’s iPhone 6s series offers with its 3D-Touch screens. The pressure sensitive display in iPhones allows user to peek at a content or app without opening it. Developers can also set specific functions for an app, when users apply pressure on the icon.
Type-C USB and all-day batteries
According to the Wall Street Journal report, the Galaxy S7 will be including a USB Type-C connection for fast charging, some level of water resistance, and much larger batteries-3,000mAh and 3,600mAh on the standard and plus-size phones.
