The Mobile World Congress has awarded Xiaomi Redmi 2 smartphone with Glomo Award in the category “The best budget smartphone 2016”.
Xiaomi Redmi 2 is equipped with a 64-bit Snapdragon 410 processor, 4.7″ screen, 8MP main camera, 2 SIM-card slots and the slot for SD-card. The battery capacity is 2200 mAh.
Microsoft Lumia 532, Huawei Honor 4A, Moto E and LG Leon were also nominated, but the winner is the smartphone from Xiaomi budget line, which has been recently expanded with advanced smartphone Redmi 3.
