LG recently launched two new models that will add up to new members of its K Series lineup.
The K8 will be available to consumers in regions including Asia, Africa, the Middle East, CIS and Latin America. The K5 will target customers in Europe, CIS and Latin America (model name Q6 in Mexico).
The new K5 sports a metallic look—a plastic made body with brushed metal finish, resulting in a look similar to the G4. It sports a 5-inch display matched to a sleek with a 480 x 854 pixels resolution.
It runs under a 1.3GHz quad-core chipset. It packs 1GB of RAM, along with 8GB ROM and microSD. It features a 5-megapixel rear camera with a 2-megapixel front camera, with Gesture Shot feature. It boots on Android 1 Lollipop.
The K8 comes with a 5-inch display with a 720p HD resolution, made with 2.5D Arc Glass Display. It packs 1.5GB RAM that will be sold in Europe and North America and 1GB RAM in Latin America. It has an 8-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel front camera and boots on Android 0 Marshmallow.
