Throughout this year, there have been numerous IT products that have hit the market. However, there are only two products which have been determined to be the best designed products of the year. The Best Designed IT Product was awarded to both Samsung's digital camcorder model SMX-C10 and LG Electronics "New Chocolate." At "Good Design 2009," the Ministry of Knowledge Economy awarded these 2 products as the best designs out of this year's class of new IT products. Our country's overall best product was awarded to Kia Motors and their Soul car.
The SMX-C10 strong qualities are that it is very thin and compact. Also, the use of cell phone is very easy and the screen is visible even in the dark. Mainly, this product received the best designed award due to it's unqiue color designs. The judges considered the fact that the 25 degree angle lenses allow you to place it over your wrist making it more comfortable. Also, it has a feature of one touch sharing which makes it convenient to put on your PC and share with others over the web.
The New Chocolate phone features a tight 4 inch touch screen. This simple design was created to enhance portability. It has real cinema view with a 21:9 width to length ratio which creates an environment like a movie theatre when watching a movie on your phone. It's minimal molding was to emphasize it's simplicity as well as it's portability.
Fourteen other products intrigued the Ministry of Knowledge Economy, including Samsung's 55 inch LED televison, some of Samsung's mobile phones, LG Electronics LCD and LED televisions, and Gprime's 24 inch laundry machine.
