Lee Dal-gon, a politician of the Grand National Party, was selected as the General-designate of the Ministry of Public Administration and Security (MOPAS). Lee said: “The IT field is improving so fast that it will take a lot of time to understand details. However, I already grasp the general summary because I have taken an interest in studies related to e-Government as an administrative scholar for the last 10 years.” Especially, he emphasized that he will be more enthusiastic about the innovation of the national administration through informatization.
Lee hinted that he will actively start to create jobs for young people by enlarging the national database-building business. He said: “When the economy is harsh, the government should actively take charge of the solution. Especially, expert manpower in the IT field is relatively young, and MOPAS has great interest in solving youth unemployment.”
