On Dec. 17, Microsoft and Daum Communication signed a partnership agreement, “Bing has a unique and distinctive search engine that is growing in the overseas market,” said Microsoft representative, “Daum search will see the great improvement in accuracy for foreign language information.” Jung Keun-wook, the marketing director of Microsoft Korea added, “In order to provide more information and contents to internet users in Korea, we signed a partnership agreement with Daum Communication. We will work together to improve our services in many different ways.”
‘Search Alliance’ making both search engines to share information. Microsoft’s Bing, can now search for information in Daum’s cafés, blogs, movies, shopping, books, music, and pictures, but it excludes sponsor links, news, and web searches.
