At the 2010 Software strategic seminar for overseas advancement which was held in Seoul KyoYuk Munhwa HoeKwan, KOTRA and Korea Software Industry Association (KSIA) concluded the contract on business agreement for overseas advance activation of Korean software enterprise, and also they promised that they will promote cooperative businesses that are opening up overseas buyer and distribution channel, providing guideline for overseas advancement, On December 17, at 11:50 am.
On December 8, KOTRA announced that they have been promoting exports for oversea advancement activation. The Korean software industry is establishing SW system business team, and the team has been working on various packages SW and IT services export businesses like founding of Japanese SW distribution center, Africa export of E-government, South Central America advance of Intelligent transport systems.
At the same time, KSIA has been also promoting SW export businesses such as CEO forum of small and medium SW enterprises and Conference of SW export enterprise.
General Manager of KOTRA's Overseas Marketing, Kwak Dong-un said, "SW export amount of 2008 was estimated at 5.7 billion dollar (US.), it is only 20% of Israel's and only 3% of India's."... "KOTRA and KSIA will be frontier for overseas advance of higher value-added business, Korean SW industry."
