On October 6, there was a ceremony of signing a Memorandum of Understanding signed between Korean companies and overseas counterparts in 2016 Global Mobile Vision (the “GMV 2016”) held in Exhibition Center 2 of Kintex.
The Korean companies that signed the MOU are Innopia Tech and ATLAB. Innopia Tech, a telecommunication equipment manufacturer, has agreed to establish a joint marketing effort on its products and services in European telecommunications market for the next year with E2A Innovation from the Netherlands, which includes sales promotions among dealers, introduction of latest European technologies, and EU R&D products.
ATLAB, a mobility & disability aids specialist, signed an MOU with WIDETEC from Japan that participated in the GMV last year. This agreement will enable WIDETEC to support localization and distribution of ATLAB’s products through Japan, and ATLAB to provide general environment in cooperation with WIDETEC.
The latest MOUs are the outcome of the export consultations, one of the major GMV programs led by KOTRA, in a bid to facilitate domestic small and medium firms to make entries into overseas markets and one accomplishment is expected to lead to another during the period of GMV 2016.
Meanwhile, ‘GMV 2016’, which his scheduled to be held for three days from October 6 through 8 is participated by some 330 domestic businesses, and over 300 foreign buyers and investors from 45 countries around the world and stages a variety of events and programs designed to accelerate domestic businesses to mark their presence in overseas markets, including global conferences, exhibitions dedicated to ICT, export consultations, start-up seminars and IRs.
