Cheil Worldwide, one of the world-wide research firms, reports that Korean advertising sales business market for this upcoming year will be marked by eight percent up scale from US$6 billion in 2009 to US$6.5 billion in 2010.
With the stabilization of Korean economy growth, Korean advertising sales business market will be boosted up in 2010 due to some of positive factors such as embodiment of media laboratory in private sectors and introduction of direct or indirect advertisements even though it has been going down hill for several years. Cheil also analyzed that the major world-wide events such as South Africa World Cup will be doing an important role to boost up the advertising sales business market as well as increase the consumption rate for next year.
A spokesperson stated, "Advertising sales business market is doing like a mirror for economy growth, when it goes up, economic growth also goes up and when it goes down, economic growth also goes down. I hope this expectation will be right so that world-wide economic situation will get better for next year."
