The U.S. Census Bureau, February 3, 2017/Korea IT Times-- The U.S. Census Bureau has released updated 2000-2020 subnational population estimates and projections by age and sex group for countries sharing bilateral efforts with the U.S. government as part of the President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR). The PEPFAR program provides assistance to countries around the world whose populations suffer from a high rate of HIV infection. Updated countries include Ethiopia, India, Nigeria, South Africa and Tanzania.
These subnational population data are consistent with the national projections from the U.S. Census Bureau’s International Data Base and are linked to digital maps of the subnational administrative areas.
