Ntreev Soft and Blueberry Entertainment recently have collaborated on a new mobile phone game that was released on January 14, 2010 through SK Telecom. This mobile game is called "Psy One Hit" and is based on the popular game known as "Go-Stop."
Go-Stop is a game played with Hanafuda (playing cards of Japanese origin). It is usually played with 2-3 players and the objective of the game is to score points, usually between 3-7 points. Once you score those points, you call either a "go" or a "stop." When a "go" is called, the game continues on, and the amount of points or money will be doubled, tripled, quadrupled, depending on how many "go's" you have called. If a "stop" is called, the game is stopped and the winner collects their winnings.
However this game's special characteristic is that it features Korean singer Psy (real name Park Jeh-sang). In the game, his hit songs play at different times of the game, in which he personally recorded for the game. In addition, the main character in the game is created to resemble Psy. Ever since his debut in 2001, he has continuously recorded many hit songs. Just last July, he recorded a hit song with Kim Jang-hoon, known as "One Touch."
As of right now, SK Telecom is providing this game service, but KT and LGT are planning to follow up on this service. To get this game, you must purchase it and download it to your cell phone for 3,500 Won. This game's rating is for 18 years of age or older.
Ntreev's mobile division's Baek Chul-min stated, "Korean users will have high expectations for Psy, and we will find that out within the mobile community. We have been planning and developing this game for a long time and gamers will recognize that by the quality of the game."
