Ewha Womans University Mokdong Hospital (Director: Yoo Kyung-ha) won the first grade for four consecutive years in the ‘Appropriateness Evaluation of Breast Cancer Care.’
On May 24, the Health Insurance Review and Assessment Service unveiled the results of the 4th Appropriateness Evaluation of Breast Cancer Care of medical institutions, based on a survey of women aged 18 or older who had a breast cancer surgery. Ewha Womans University Mokdong Hospital received the first grade this time again, for four years in a row, consolidating its position as a leading hospital in the country’s breast cancer filed.
The 4th evaluation assessed a total of 20 indicators (including two monitoring indicators), including ▲ the recommended rate of chemotherapy, ▲ the rate of adjuvant therapy within 8 weeks after surgery, and ▲ the rate of radiation therapy after breast cancer resection. Ewha Womans University Mokdong Hospital earned 100 points in all indicators, achieving a high rate of index coverage.
