RAISE 2017, sponsored by BidPal®, is a one-day conference and will be preceded by a half-day user conference and cocktail networking reception. The conference will enable fundraising professionals to share and discover relevant trends, engage with industry peers, and learn from industry insiders. In addition to Lynn Page, national director of signature events at JDRF and Mike Wilkinson, deputy director of events for Human Rights Campaign, featured speakers include Sophie Streeter, director of special events for Loyola Academy in Chicago; Nhu Te, editor of NonProfit Pro; author, speaker and coach Mike Merriam; and Ben Farrell from Custom Benefit Auctions.

Topics will include data driven fundraising, storytelling using humor and emotion to electrify donors, running efficient and profitable campaigns, building cohesive procurement teams, registration/checkout best practices and a full panel discussion on event fundraising trends.

“The event fundraising field is constantly evolving. Donor demographics are changing and fundraisers need to think about new and innovative ways to engage and retain donors,” said BidPal CEO Steve Johns. “RAISE 2017 will provide event fundraisers a dynamic way to discover new ideas and learn new skills that will help benefit their causes, while providing an opportunity to learn from and network with peers.”

Participants at RAISE 2017 have the ability to earn up to four Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) continuing education credits.

RAISE 2017 will be held at The Event Space at YFU in downtown Washington, DC. Early registration is available for $99 before September 1; regular registration is $149. Registration is online at http://raise.bidpal.com/.
