Amazon.com expands their 'Kindle' e-book application unhindered to PC, Apple iPhone, and RIM's Blackberry. This is to widen the gap between other e-book content manufacturers and increase Amazon's revenue on e-book contents.
Amazon.com has introduced, on the February 21, its 'Bold 9000, 9700' and 'Curve 8520, 8900' and other models, which are free, kindle applications for Blackberry. Thus, Blackberry users can select more than forty thousand e-book contents. It has been providing kindle application via whispersync technology to iPhone, 'iPod Touch', and windows PC.
The company stated that it will soon present another kindle application that is adoptable to Apple's Mac PC and iPad; Amazon.com endeavors to dominate its kindle platform all around. Moreover, their strategy lies on familiarizing users with kindle application through distributing its platform to as many electronic devices such as PCs, smart phones, and tablet PCs and also to increase their profits by selling its related contents.
