Kiwontech, the security solution company based in Seoul Korea announced on December 8 that it is actively preparing to enter the global market, as evidenced in its recent hosting of a seminar on AI email security solution platform in Ho Chi Minh City. At the seminar, Kiwontech presented its specialized application of security-currently a major issue in the Vietnamese IT industry-to the email sector. Hosted in cooperation with Kiwontech's Vietnamese partner company Vnetwork, the seminar was attended by CTOs from over 70 Vietnamese companies and representatives from public corporations and institutions.

Session topics included: Status of Email Security in Vietnam, Methods of Email-Based Crime, and Solutions to Address Email-Based Crime. An in-depth information session was also held to introduce KIWONTECH's SECU MAIL.

At the seminar, Kiwontech signed MOUs with two Vietnamese IT companies: Saco and Digital World. In addition, representatives from Vietnam's Ministry of Defense, who were present at the event and decided to adopt SECU MAIL on the spot.

Developed independently by Kiwontech, SECU MAIL is a personnel optimization AI email security solution, checking the reliability of received email. It detects SCAM including fraudulent mail. Also, the AI engine blocks new kinds of ransomware and malicious code by verifying the number of cases that can be activated when a user opens an email.

Kiwontech CEO Kim Dong-cheol said, "Until now, most local Vietnamese companies had been struggling with security due to their reliance on Gmail. Following a statement made by one of Vietnam's deputy prime ministers there is growing interest these days in email security. It is a great time to launch SECU MAIL Solution."

Vnetwork said "With this, SECU MAIL is becoming increasingly popular in Vietnam, because it clearly indicates the identities of email senders to all users, not only the security administrator."

As part of its plan to expand into the Middle Eastern market, Kiwontech has also signed MOUs with the Oman-based IT companies Ozone United and Interactive Solutions and Services L.L.C. Based on these MOUs, Kiwontech will be supplying email security products and providing remote technical support to both companies.
