NEW YORK, Dec. 18, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE/KOREA IT TIMES) -- Claroty, an innovator in operational technology (OT) network protection, announced today the successful certification of the Claroty Platform with the widely used RSA® NetWitness® Suite. After collaboration and testing by Claroty and RSA, the solutions are now capable of sharing information to assist security teams with forensic analysis and incident response related to abnormal and malicious behavior in critical infrastructure and other OT networks.

The Claroty Platform is an award-winning suite of integrated products specifically designed for industrial control systems (ICS or OT) environments. It provides comprehensive protection, detection and response capabilities – yielding unmatched cyber risk management for ICS/OT networks. The platform proactively protects industrial control systems and continuously monitors industrial networks for cyber threats. With secure remote access, asset owners can employ policies to control remote employee and third-party access to critical systems, and record the sessions. Continuous threat detection creates a detailed inventory of industrial network assets, identifies misconfigurations, monitors traffic between assets, and finds anomalies that may indicate the presence of a malicious actor. Context-rich alerts provide plant and security personnel with actionable insights for efficient investigation, response and recovery.

“The interoperability of the Claroty Platform with the RSA NetWitness Suite provides a never-before-seen level of security for ICS networks,” said Benny Porat, Co-Founder and CTO of Claroty. “This interoperability comes at a time of increasing danger for the world’s industrial control systems and critical infrastructure networks. Attack volume – and the number and type of threat actors behind those attacks – are evolving in this space at a rapid and alarming pace. Claroty provides the deepest level of visibility, continuous threat monitoring, detection and response possible for these networks – and the interoperability of our platform with the RSA NetWitness Suite means that alerts that we generate can more rapidly be investigated by forensics and incident response teams – speeding the time to response and minimizing the potential for disruption.”

“At RSA, we recognize that there are serious challenges in the area of ICS security,” said Matthew Chase, Senior Manager of Technical Alliances at RSA. “We’re overcoming those challenges by working with Claroty, and this certification marks an important step in our collaboration. With the power of the Claroty Platform now working with the RSA NetWitness Suite, we believe that customers gain a significant advantage in responding to adversarial threats.”

When configured on sites of customers of both the Claroty Platform and the RSA NetWitness Suite, every new alert generated by the Claroty Platform (or the resolution of an alert) and the events associated with it, will be sent through to the RSA NetWitness software to help provide a unified view in the full context of the organization’s security monitoring.

Users of the Claroty Platform and RSA NetWitness solutions can find more information on this interoperability, including detailed installation guides, at https://community.rsa.com/docs/DOC-84927.
