Samsung has been criticizing LG's 3D TVs for its low quality in various electronics departments at the mall. 3D TV, which provides more voluminous 3D like images, is becoming a hot topic among electronics companies. LG Electronics have requested Samsung to stop such allegations, but Samsung responded by stating that "LG has done worse," and Samsung refused to follow LG's request.
For example, since March 20, Samsung has posted on TV displays in Shinsegye Mall, an affiliated company of Samsung, LG related articles that mention LG's potential exports of its 3D TV products. With those articles, Samsung is alleging that the articles are fraud. Whether LG will fire back against Samsung or for how long Samsung continues to criticize LG is yet to be known. But what is known is that such competitive advertisements can hurt both Samsung and LG. By depicting Samsung as the aggressor and hurting LG's company image as a deceiver.
