TORONTO, March 06, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Ceridian, a global human capital management technology company, proudly announced today that it has been named to the 2018 list of Best Workplaces™ for Women, a distinction received after an independent analysis conducted by Great Place to Work®.

“Diversity and equality are top priorities for our leadership team and organization” said Paul Elliott, President and Chief Operating Officer, Ceridian. “We believe inclusivity in the workplace is essential for driving innovation and inspiring a culture of excellence.”

In the workplace, Ceridian has launched programs such as the Ceridian’s Women’s Network (CWN), a forum for the professional improvement and personal development of Ceridian employees that focuses on the interests of women. Its annual event, the CWN Summit, facilitates discussions on equity and diversity in the workplace.

Ceridian is also a founding partner of #MoveTheDial, an initiative dedicated to increasing the participation and advancement of women in technology, and participates in the #GoSponsorHer program, a grassroots movement to promote supporting the growth and success of women at work.

“Being named a Best Workplace™ for Women by Great Place to Work® is an honor,” said Lisa Sterling, Chief People and Culture Officer, Ceridian “We are continuously evaluating our practices to ensure we foster an inclusive culture where all employees have equal opportunities to contribute, grow, and lead.”

The list of the 50 Best Workplaces™ for Women is based on direct feedback from employees of the hundreds of organizations that were surveyed by Great Place to Work®. The data has a 90% confidence and a plus or minus 5% margin of error.

To be eligible for this list, organizations must have been Great Place to Work® certified in the past year, employ a minimum of 15 women, and had a minimum 90% positive response to the statement "I am treated fairly regardless of my gender". Great Place to Work® also evaluated the overall Trust Index score of eligible organizations and their programs and practices that support and advance women.
