The research and development related to Game AI is also vigorous. NCsoft is developing AI technology to help with the game development process. Through AI technology, the company is looking at technologies that will reduce the repetitive manual tasks required in the game development process such as planning, art, and programming. Especially recently, the company is studying machine learning-based graphics technology to develop AI technologies to improve the quality of existing game graphics and reduce the manual work of animators.
