Samsung SDS is pushing for Digital Financial Business based on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Blockchain.
Yoo Hong-joon, Vice president of Samsung SDS’s financial business department, announced on the 4th at Media Day, which was held at Samsung SDS’s Jamsil campus, that he “plans to launch digital finance though ‘Nexfinance’, a digital financial platform that combines proven technology with new technology.”
Nexfinance is a digital financial platform with advanced IT technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, blockchains, big data analysis, and intelligent process automation.
Samsung SDS has enhanced competitiveness in digital financial services of financial institutions by providing services such as digital identity, financial concierge, and AI virtual assistantautomatic insurance claim through Nexfinance.
Digital identity is a blockchain-based identification that can securely transmit personal information. Financial concierge is a financial asset management service that utilizes Artificial Intelligence and Big Data analysis.
The AI virtual assistant automatic insurance claim automates the financial institution work, making it possible for the customer to provide fast and convenient services.
“Nexfinance is a platform that allows easy implementation of new IT technologies and a variety of external solutions, enabling financial institutions to actively and flexibly respond to the rapidly changing financial IT environment. It will also provide maximum level of security by applying technology for forgery and falsification prevention and joint authentication based on blockchain technology,” said Samsung SDS.
