Hyundai Motor has unveiled its SUV concept car " HDC - 2 Grand Master Concept " at the 2018 Busan International Motor Show for the first time in the world.
At the 2018 Busan International Motor Show held at BEXCO in Busan on Thursday, Hyundai Motor unveiled the concept car RIN-2 Grand Master Concept for the first time in the world, and unveiled the future strategy of " High Performance N ", a high-performance lineup.
" With the recent introduction of new technologies such as sports styling, self-driving, AI and others, the new and unique touch of contemporary design has been connected to the past and future." Lee Sang-yeop, the director of Hyundai Styling said at the motor show.
" If Hyundai Motor's HDC-1 LE FIL ROUGE CONCEPT showed the purpose of modern design in a declarative manner, it will be the first time for a customer to explain to the public how it was designed. " he added.
Hyundai Motor unveiled its first domestic vehicle to launch its high-performance N lineup, along with the vision of its high-performance lineup.
Thomas Schemera, executive vice president of Hyundai Motor's high-performance business division, said, " Hyundai's high performance N pursues not only the RPM of the car but also BPM, an emotional pleasure that makes drivers who drive. "
Lee Kwang-kook, vice president of the domestic sales division of Hyundai Motor, said, "Veloster N is attracted to different things regardless of age, gender, and generation, and is enthusiastic about the excitement of high performance driving."
"With the Veloster N, we hope that our car-loving customers will be able to buy the highest-quality, highest-performance cars at reasonable prices without having to find a expensive foreign brand." he added.
The Veloster N is a single powertrain with a gasoline 2.0 turbo for N and a manual six-speed transmission and is expected to be officially released in Korea in June.
In addition, Hyundai Motor unveiled the Tucson Face Lift model for the first time in Asia, which is set to be released in the third quarter.
