LG Electronics will release a low-prices smartphone ‘LG X5’ that can be used for one night and two days with a single charge, on June 8th. The store price is 338.7 dollars.
The ‘LG X5’ battery has the largest capacity among the smartphones released in Korea at 4,500 mAh. In addition, it features a ‘micro USD’ port, and it has a fast charging function so that the user can charge the phone anytime and anywhere quickly and easily.
LG Electronics analyzed customers’ mobile phone usage environments and noticed that customers who used the large-capacity battery product had a lot of outdoor activities, so convenience features were included according to it.
The ‘LG X5’ has a fingerprint recognition sensor located at the back where the index finger easily reaches. This allows anyone to easily turn their smartphoneon and offby simple touching the sensor without a password or pattern.
Furthermore, the smartphone is equipped with LG Pay which makes it easy for users to make payments without having to carry around multiple cards such as credit cards and membership cards. If one puts his or her finger on the rear fingerprint sensor and waits for identity confirmation, and then places the smartphone on the payment terminal, one can use it just like a credit card. LG Electronics has strengthened its LG Pay function to enable online payment, ATM deposit, and banking services with steady updates.
The super-angle camera, which is installed on the front of the smartphone, has a sight angle of 120 degrees and is enough for 7 to 8 people to take pictures together without the need of a selfie stick. When one takes a photo while traveling, one can create a rich self-portrait with a wide background. In addition, as it focuses only on subjects, it has an out-focusing function that is more prominent.
When earphones are plugged in, it is possible to watch DMB TV with HD resolution or listen to FM radio without using data. It is ideal for customers who are located in areas where data is not being sent and received or who are burdened with data usage.
LG Electronics is going to hold an event where customers can purchase a case and a liquid crystal film at 4.66 dollars to commemorate the launch of the ‘LG X5’.
