A special program to play and learn while watching the children’s favorite character ‘Pink Pong’ on TV will be shown through KT’s IPTV ‘Olleh TV’.

KT (Chairman Hwang Chang-gyu) announced that it will release the Pink Pong TV School, an integrated development program for infants and toddlers, on July 27th at Olleh TV’s ‘Kids Land’, a personalized service package for children.

‘Pink Pong TV School’, which will be introduced for the first time at KT Kids Land, is an educational program for infants and toddlers to be introduced by the global contents company Smart Study. The Video-on-Demand (VOD) and instructional materials that feature popular character ‘Pink Pong’ that are essential for the development of infants and toddlers, are organized so that children can naturally play and learn.

If someone joins ‘Pink Pong TV School’, he/she can enjoy unlimited viewing of over 1,000 pink pong videos-on-Demand (VOD), and receive 23 kinds of parishes and toys at home. In addition, the service offers 200 Pink Pong Music Stories VOD that cannot be seen on Youtube, 12 Pink Pong picture books, 8 play books, and 5 kinds of toys.

The curriculum for ‘Pink Pong TV School’ is divided into six development areas: lifestyle, language emotion, natural exploration, physical play, music play, and bilingual development, which are necessary for child growth. A child can grow properly while learning through watching videos on TV with their eyes and enjoying repeated experiences by playing with books and toys with their hands. Furthermore, it utilizes Ping Pong’s dance movements, which are popular among infants between 0 and 36 months, to help them learn their living habits more pleasantly and interestingly.

“Ping Pong TV School, which will be released soon, will become a childcare necessity that will lessen the burden on beginner parents,” said Kang In-sik, Managing Director of Media Contents at KT’s Media Business Division.
