Blockchain Law Society hold Foundation Conference on Aug 24th

Experts from various fields are participating to establish a new chapter in the study of blockchain law system.

 

Experts from various fields are gathering in order to study changes in systems, policies and legal services that can be brought by the development of blockchain technology. The Blockchain Law Society will be held 'Blockchain Law Society Foundation Conference and Research Projects Launching' event at the convention room, Seoul Central District Court from 3pm to 6pm on August 24th.

It is expected that the importance of blockchain technology and industry will dramatically increase in various areas of our society in near future. Blockchain Law Society was founded not only to study blockchain technology in legal aspect, but to promote interdisciplinary collaborations between diverse areas, such as economics, computer engineering, field business. With Jung-yeop Lee, the presiding judge of the Daejeon District Court, as a founding member, Blockchain Law Society is composed of blockchain experts in various professionals fields, such as judges, prosecutors, lawyers, professors of relevant majors, experts in industry, and reporters.

Blockchain Law Society will reflect the spirit of the blockchain in operating the society by implementing new measurement and evaluation system; the society will be connected to the members online 24 hours a day, and processes and results of the projects will be opened to the members in real time to be evaluated and rewarded fairly.

The event will be held in 2 parts, the foundation conference as part 1 and the research project launching as part 2. In the project launching event, 12 projects will be revealed, and the participants of the projects will present the reasons for the project proposal and the research goals. Also the society is planning to demonstrate its online platform.

The project topics to be exhibited on this day are: ▹How to design crypto currency and crypto exchanges, ▹Research on reward system of Blockchain Law Society, ▹Blockchain and the civil society, ▹Accounting and taxing methods related to blockchain, ▹Using blockchain in copyright contents, ▹Blockchain-a tool for programmable economy, ▹Civil law issues regarding smart contracts, ▹Research on legislating fundamental law on blockchain, ▹Blockchain innovation, a tool for internalizing externality, ▹Blockchain and the criminal law , ▹Research on revitalizing blockchain industry by regulatory sandbox, ▹The present and the future of online platform of Blockchain Law Society
