YIDO, Korea's only unified management operator and O&M (Operating and Management) platform company, announced on August 27 that it officially launches its golf club brand 'CLUBD'.
"D" in "CLUBD" means “Destination," which indicates the final completion or destination of a public golf course, and "Differentiation."
Ido has a management philosophy that aims to provide differentiated fun and services that were not felt in the existing public golf courses and to introduce high-end public golf courses with new senses.
To do this, CLUBD is going to work with Seowon Valley Club, one of the top 10 golf courses in Korea, to operate golf courses, provide customer service, and develop products.
In addition to launching the golf club brand, Ido also plans to operate the first golf course, CLUBD Boeun, in Boeun, North Chungcheong Province.
The CLUBD Boeun forms an 18-hole public course on about 945,000m2 site. The total length of extension is 6,163 meters (6,740 yards) and is sufficient to attract various competitions.
After receiving advice from Mr. Ken Baker, the former chief architect of Jack Nicklaus, CLUBD Boeun plans to upgrade the course continuously.
Ido aims to lead the market by operating differentiated courses that are suitable for the era of popularizing golf.
The club house has an outdoor terrace that can accommodate up to 120 people at the same time, and a powder room and shower room have been remodeled for female golfers.
CLUBD Boeun is located 10 minutes away from Boeun IC.
