Korean Air has launched a new flight from Busan to Danang in Vietnam on Oct. 28.

Korean Air has launched a new flight from Busan to Danang in Vietnam on Oct. 28. The new Busan-Danang route will be operated seven times a week, and the 159-seat Boeing 737-900 will be deployed, a company spokesman said.

The flight from Busan departs from Gimhae International Airport at 9:25 p.m. and arrives at Da Nang at 12:20 a.m. the following day, local time. The return flight leaves Danang at 2:45 a.m. and arrives in Busan at 8:30 a.m.

Korean Air hosted the event on Oct. 28 at Kimhae International Airport in Busan with attendance of Chae Jong-hoon, chief of the Korean Air's Korean regional headquarters, Busan City's new airport promotion director Song Kwang-hang and Busan City's Tourism Association Chairman Lee Tae-sup.

Da Nang is the largest commercial and port city in central Vietnam, and is a perfect place to travel during the winter with an average temperature of 23 degrees Celsius. Hoi An, who was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site, and Bana Hill, a 1,500-meter-tall amusement park in the Guinness Book of World Records, are recommended as tourist attractions.

With this new Busan-Danang flight, meanwhile, Korean Air will operate 12 international flights from Busan to 12 cities, including Osaka, Bangkok and Beijing, the spokesman said.
