It is reported that a Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power (KHNP) official working at the construction site of a nuclear power plant in Barakah, the United Arab Emirates, regularly molested a non-regular foreign woman.
According to KHNP on Nov. 3, the father of a Filipino woman who works in a field office in the Barakah nuclear power plant recently asked KHNP to take action after hearing that her daughter was sexually harassed.
"The daughter who works as a non-regular worker at the plant in Barakah to support her family has been sexually harassed by her Korean boss, but she has not been able to tell him about the damage because she might lose her job," said.
KHNP confirmed based on its investigation results that A had been sexually harassed and dismissed the suspect after isolating him.
"We have dismissed the employee who was in trouble after noticing the case this week," a source at KHNP said. "We will summon the suspect to the country for further probe on the case."
