Chrome has put an emphasis on speed, simplicity, and security. The secret of speed is the V8 JavaScript engine which is an open source browser for Google. According to recent news from Google, the Chrome 5 beta with V8 JavaScript engine is 35 percent faster than previous betas. Not only is there a speed improvement, Chrome has added many more new features.
Users are able to customize their browser with various themes and visit websites easily with the new tab page. Translations of websites are also available.
When you don't want to leave your tracks in the browser history, you can erase your history in the "Privacy" section of Chrome's options section. With "Incognito Mode" in Chrome, users can unmark their imprints of website visits on their computer.
Also, the stability of each tab is secured. Even if a tab on Google Chrome freezes or crashes, the other tabs are not affected by that. You can also change the order of tabs by clicking and dragging them. A new feature includes dragging a tab and Google Chrome will open up a new broswer with only that website.
Since Google Chrome is designed simply, all the features are easy to use.
Meanwhile, Mozilla Firefox 4 is about to come out. It will be interesting to see the competition between Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox 4.
