SAIDA (Samsung SDS AI & Data Analytics) team composed of Samsung SDS developers has won the AI tournament of AIIDE StarCraft(StarCraft®) for the first time among Korean teams.
This year's competition hosted by the AIIDE(Artificial Intelligence & Interactive Digital Entertainment) Association was held in a three-week league match among AI Bots participated from the world. The team with the highest winning rate is to win.
The Samsung SDS SAIDA team has completed 10 maps from the end of October to this week. In about 2,600 matches, the team won the championship with an overwhelming 2,484 wins and 106 losses for 96 percent winning rate.
The AIIDE competition, which started in 2010, has been recognized as the world's most prestigious event. It is known as one of the world's top three StarCraft AI competitions, along with CIG(Computational Intelligence and Games) and SSCAIT(Student StarCraft Artificial Intelligence Tournament & Ladder).
