On December 5, Sejong Telecom, a wired and wireless telecommunication company, released a legal hybrid platform based on artificial intelligence 'www.lawmeca.com'
Lawmeca was developed by Intel Ricone Meta Research Institute, a company that specializes in artificial intelligence.
It is Korea's first artificial intelligence legal hybrid platform that combines legal Q&A, customized attorney recommendation, and legal profile cube functions.
The service is a free and intelligent knowledge-trading platform that helps the public to ask for legal information and clients' security.
When a user asks a question that he or she enters, it is analyzed through artificial intelligence and linked to a recommendation system for lawyers.
Such recommended lawyers are provided with detailed information, so users do not have to struggle or waste time looking for lawyers.
When a lawyer registers a profile on a site, he or she connects directly to the user through a lawyer recommendation system.
It is also possible to maximize promotional effects by automatically exposing it to search engines such as Google.
"Lawmeca can be very useful if users are considering asking for a lawyer or needs a lawyer recommendation due to the urgent legal situation," said Park Hyo-jin, marketing director at Sejong Telecom.
