LG Display has started two-way communication with consumers in order to spread the superiority of OLED, which is becoming a trend of premium TVs.
LG Display announced on December 26 that it opened "OLED SPACE(www.oledspace.com)" an online community for OLED that enables consumers to share knowledge and information regarding OLED for the first time in Korea.
OLED Space is composed of three sections: OLED Think, which experiences value of OLED in real life through images and videos, OLED Talk, which enables sharing and communicating of OLED expertise, and What is OLED that provides information on principles of OLED technology.
LG Display is planning to provide accurate information on OLED TVs through OLED space and help consumers choose good TVs by providing value for OLED as a true Life Display.
LG Display is continuously accumulating variety of contents that specialize in OLED in order to vitalize its community. By introducing the Genius membership system, the company will also provide various benefits for outstanding participants, such as visits to places related to OLED and meetings with Power YouTube.
"LG Display will allow the online community to develop truly meaningful products for consumers by communicating directly with corporate customers as well as consumers," said Ko Kyu-young, executive director of LG Display's promotion. "Not only does OLED provide perfect picture quality when watching TV, but it also upgrades interior of home through gallery mode such as outside TV viewing, aquarium, and window."
