Samsung Electronics will hold an outdoor advertisement in Korean at the Place de la Concorde in Paris, France from Jan. 11 (local time) ahead of Galaxy Unpacked event that will be held on Feb. 20. This is the first time that the company is conducting an outdoor advertisement in Korean overseas.
Samsung Electronics plans to express its pride as a Korean company through outdoor advertisements in Korean and raise expectations and curiosity about the future Galaxy will offer.
The phrase "open the future" is about the innovation of Samsung Electronics' smartphones, which marks the 10th anniversary of its release.
On the phrase, "Unfold the future," the company explained that it tried to express its will to the smartphone innovation on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the Galaxy debut. "Feb. 20" is the date when Samsung Electronics' new Galaxy smartphone will be unveiled.
The Galaxy Unpacked 2019 will be held at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco on Feb. 20 (local time). It is also the first time for the company to hold an unpacked event in San Francisco. Samsung Electronics has introduced its products at MWC (Mobile World Congress) that will be held in Barcelona, Spain.
