Netmarble ranked fifth in sales in the global mobile game market last year. According to a report released on Jan. 17 by App Annie, a mobile app market analysis site, Netmarble ranked fifth in the global mobile game sales, following Tencent, Netiz, Activision Blizzard, and Bandai Namco last year.
Netmarble was included in the top 10 in sales among 21 countries around the world. It ranked sixth in the U.S. and Canada, which are major mobile game markets, and fourth and fifth in the Britain and France, respectively. It secured the second position in Korea and garnered the top position in Hong Kong and Singapore.
Its major game titles are "Lineage 2 Revolution" and Netmarble's North American subsidiary, Kabam's 'Marvel All Star Battle." They ranked among the top 10 in sales in many countries.
Netmarble is also planning to release a variety of new products this year and accelerate expansion of its global business. It is moving to release "BTS World" that combines K-POP and K-GAME, and Action RPG "The King of Fighters All Star" that was introduced in advance in Japan last year.
In addition, "Project M" using the original TCG Magic the Gathering IP and "Richworth," the next global version of "Everybody's Marble," are also set to be released.
