NC Soft held 'NC AI DAY 2019' conference at the Pangyo R&D Center from January 24 to 25.
NC AI DAY is a place where NC Soft shares R&D performance with its AI center and Natural Language Processing (NLP) center that are in charge of AI research and discuss direction of development of AI technologies with outstanding researchers.
It is the second time this year starting from 2018. Including members of NC Soft AI and NLP Center, professors and students from South Korea's graduate schools attended at NC AI DAY 2019.
On January 24, the first day, a meeting was arranged between researchers at NC Soft AI Center and NLP Center.
There were in-depth discussions on five areas of AI technologies, including games, voice recognition, synthesis, computer vision, NLP and knowledge engineering, which NC Soft is currently working on.
On the second day of January 25, researchers from 13 schools, including Seoul National University, KAIST, Yonsei University and Korea University, and 30 research labs related to AI attended to share the latest research results and discuss future improvements and development directions.
"NC AI DAY shares and discusses the latest technologies and research results in five areas of AI technology," said Lee Jae-joon, head of NC Soft AI Center. "We will continue to develop valuable positions where researchers from academia and industry can gather together to learn and interact with each other."
NC Soft is planning to hold 'NC AI Media Talks' in May and introduce AI and NLP technologies and services that it has been researching.
