KEB Hana Bank announced on Feb. 24 that it won the Euromoney-hosted "Best PB Bank Award for Korea," the highest prize for each country in the PB category, at the 16th "Private Banking & Asset Management Survey 2019" awarding ceremony held in London, the U.K. on Feb. 21 (local time).
Euromoney is a financial news-specialized magazine founded in 1969 in the U.K. About 450 professional bankers from 90 countries around the world have been announced the best private bank rankings by each country every year through their survey and verification.
According to Hana Bank, Euromoney ranked Hana No. 1 in 13 categories, including overall asset management, asset management expertise service, research capabilities and asset allocation advisory capacity, and financial services for multinational customers.
With the award, Hana will set a record of 12 out of 16 awards since it received the award in 2005 for the first time in Korea.
"We are pleased that our market leadership in the PB sector is consistently recognized overseas and we are proud to be able to provide more benefits and quality services by combining global capabilities, foreign exchange synergies, and digital finance," said Jang Kyung-hoon, vice president of KEB Hana Bank's Well Living Group.
