IVS (Intelligent Video & Sound) will participate in the International Security Exhibition and Conference (SECON) 2019 in Kintex, Ilsan, from March 6 to 8 to introduce its new technologies and products that combine various technologies of the 4th Industrial Revolution (AI, Big Data, Cloud, IoT), along with the existing intelligence-type sound analysis and video analysis products.
Based on a variety of convergence technologies, such as an intelligent video analysis system that can offer direct service to customers by combining with the cloud, a high-speed search solution that has drastically reduced search time by using AI technology, a face recognition solution that has a high dynamic recognition rate through deep learning, and a solution for safer industrial sites by identifying a person's movements and wearing a safety helmet, IVS will herald a new beginning in the global CCTV security market, IVS CEO Bae Young-hoon said on Feb. 26
IVS, which has been developed from a leading-edge intelligent video security company to a company specialized in AI security solutions, is the only technology company in the world that possesses the original technologies on video analysis and sound analysis simultaneously.
Established in 2010, it developed an intelligent video surveillance system and an abnormal sound detection system that can be viewed, heard and spoken unlike existing video surveillance equipment.
Based on the technology accumulated in the field of intelligent analysis, a number of video and sound database were established to detect abnormal sound sources such as screams, explosions, car crashes, etc. and commercialize intelligent CCTVs that can be broadcasted to realize its philosophy to become a "company for people's lives and safety of society."
By exporting $1.5 million worth of intelligent video analysis software to Singapore in 2018, IVS is emerging as a front-runner in the world's technology market, leading a new paradigm of the global intelligent CCTV market. In particular, based on the advanced technology that has been recognized globally, IVS concluded a partnership with Gartner, a global market research company, taking a significant step toward growth.
"More than 1,000 local governments have established our systems to get related services. And the comparable number is expected to reach over 5,000 for this and next year. We also plan to advance into foreign markets such as the U.S., India and Saudi Arabia, not to mention public institutions in Korea. At the same time, we are developing CCTV technology into an export-driven business, not a technology that operates in the domestic market," CEO Bae added.
