Com2us' new mobile RPG 'Skylanders Ring of Heroes' has been ranked high among major countries in the early days of the service, showing signs of global box office success.
The Skylanders Ring of Heroes, which started its service in more than 120 Western countries including North America and Europe on February 28, has ranked second and third in the popular game of Google Play in France and Germany, ranked first in the RPG genre in 43 countries, and TOP10 in 68 countries.
In addition, the game also became TOP10 in 49 different Apple App Store RPG genres, making a good start in targeting the global market.
The initial popularity of the service in western regions, where RPG genre is not more preferred than in other regions, is raising expectations for mid- to long-term performance in the future, the company said.
The Skylanders Ring of Heroes was born with the mobile capabilities of Com2us and Activision's grand console games Skylanders.
The game features original stories and 80 unique characters, and through strategic warfare methods through a variety of skill combinations, gamers can enjoy the excitement of a tense battle.
"Europe is an area where Summoner's War has been performing for a long time," a Com2us official said. "That's why Com2us' brand value is seen as leading to Skylanders' popularity."
He also said, "We will do our best to promote a wider range of areas in the future and enhance game content."
