Doosan Infracore has succeeded in winning contracts in succession in the Central Asia and the Middle East. Doosan Infracore said on March 4 that it signed a contract to supply 47 construction machines such as excavators and wheel loaders in Uzbekistan last month.
Doosan Infracore also won a contract to supply 46 excavators and wheel loaders in Saudi Arabia for mining and infrastructure construction and oil and gas pipeline construction.
The Uzbekistan's customer is a large company that rents equipment. It has been purchasing and operating Doosan Infracore equipment since before. Doosan Infracore is also expecting additional orders as the demand for its equipment related to railway construction in Uzbekistan is likely to increase.
Saudi Arabia's construction machinery market is steadily increasing in demand as local governments announced their investment in infrastructure construction and expanded financial spending.
"We are planning to continue our growth by strengthening competitiveness of channels in emerging markets and increasing sales of large models." said an official for Doosan Infracore.
