LG Electronics is going to release its strategic Smartphone "LG G8 ThinQ" in South Korea through its own channels with three mobile carriers on March 22.
The LG G8 ThinQ comes with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 855, and has three different colors: Carmine Red, New Aurora Black and New Morokan Blue. Starting with South Korea, LG Electronics is going to release LG G8 ThinQ in major markets such as North America and Europe sequentially.
Customers who purchased LG G8 ThinQ through advance reservation that started on March 15 will be able to receive benefits such as free liquid crystal replacement once a year after purchase and the free gift of the LG G8 ThinQ case.
LG Electronics is planning to continue to strengthen LG's "trustworthy and long-lasting" policy of providing steady and stable support even after the release of the new product.
SW Upgrade Center supports variety of support from OS upgrade to current SW enhancement, new SW addition, and security patch. LG Electronics had installed AI camera function through SW Update on LG G6, which was released two years ago.
"By putting design and performance that match premium, more customers will be able to experience various charms of LG G8 ThinQ," said Ahn Byung-duk, a mobile marketing consultant at LG Electronics.
