LG Display is going to introduce various cutting-edge OLED products by participating in "7th China Information Technology Expo (CITE) 2019" that will be held in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province from April 9 to 11. CITE 2019 is Asia's largest information/electronics exhibition, with some 1,600 companies participating every year and 160,000 visitors attending.

Based on the slogan "China's Real Age of OLED," LG Display plans to display OLED products that will appeal to Chinese consumers in terms of picture quality, design and scalability.

After attaching four 65-inch UHD OLED displays to the front of the entrance of the exhibition hall, it is going to display both 'The Rose' and '88-inch commercial display, which are displays that are implemented in the form of roses by rolling out the ends.

It will also introduce 88-inch 8K Crystal Sound OLED, which can be heard directly from the screen without a separate speaker. The product was named Best Component of the Year Award by the China Association of Home Appliances at the Appliance & Electronics World Expo in Shanghai on March 14.

LG Display is also going to introduce the various state-of-the-art OLED products such as 88-inch 8K OLED with 33 million spontaneous photo-pixel controls to implement true 8K, 65-inch UHD Crystal Motion OLED with the fastest response speed of 3.5ms in an existing TV display, 77-inch wallpaper OLED with a picture attached to the wall, 86-inch UHD LCD electronic blackboard with high-performance touch experience using In-Touch technology and a variety of gaming monitors based on Oxide technology to provide the best gaming experience.

"Changes in value of displays are more important than resolution in 8K markets, and OLEDs can implement new values such as rollable displays and transparent displays," said Koh Kyu-young, executive vice president of LG Display's strategic promotion division. "LG Display will lead the OLED market in China, the world's largest TV market"

Meanwhile, China has the largest TV market in the world as a single country and has the highest consumer acceptance of high-tech products. In particular, China is expected to play an important role in expanding the OLED TV market as middle class purchasing power improves due to increased income.
