SGA Solutions has been selected as a participating company for development of joint authoring services for business contents based on blockchain of the project for developing core technologies in knowledge service industry implemented by the Korea Evaluation Institute of Industrial Technology (KEIT) at the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy.
The ministry has been pushing for the R&D project as part of the "2019 Industrial Technology Innovation Business Integration Implementation Plan" to boost the industrial technology ecosystem and strengthen global competitiveness.
Among them, the AI and Big Data-based business model of the project to be implemented by the KEIT will be designed and developed by UniWebs, the organizer of the project.
To realize technologies, SGA Solutions and SAEPTAEM formed a consortium. By doing so, they plan to develop AI platforms that produce high-quality content by utilizing collective intelligence and big data from experts online, and provide services that jointly create and automate blockchain-based work contents.
SGA Solutions uses blockchain to develop functions to enhance the security and prevention of forgery of outputs, and to improve transparency in the distribution of rewards to increase experts' participation.
"In line with the prospects of blockchain's entry into the market in earnest this year, a wide range of industry grafting of blockchain technology is needed," said Choi Young-chul, CEO of SGA Solutions.
"We will successfully carry out the project with the goal of establishing a productive Internet environment suitable for the era of the fourth industrial revolution and introduce various possibilities of blockchain that can also be applied in the new industrial sector," he added.
