From today we entered June which is the 'Information Culture month.' And on the subject of 'advanced digital society,' many of the national wise information cultural events are going to be held during the month. The Public Administration and Security Information Agency plan to have about 60 events in collaboration with 16 local government organizations.
June has been the month of Information and Culture for 23 years to celebrate the first computer introduction in Korea in June 1967 and nationwide telephone automation in June 1987, set in June. And this year, the topic for the month is 'Digital warmth' for minimizing dysfunction of internet and enjoying digital world.
8th of June, the ceremony and project launch meeting, 'Digital World Practical Network' will be processed in Seoul Plaza. Along with the ceremony and the launch meeting, various events will be going on in June across the nation.
