VX Network, which has developed a blockchain game service platform called "PlayBits" and is preparing for a game-specific exchange, made an announcement on June 13 that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Blockchain Platform Ontology.
Ontology is a blockchain platform developed by Onchain, which was co-founded by Li Jun and Neo founder Da Hongfei, called Ethereum of China.
As of June 12, Ontology Token (ONT) ranked 21st with a market capitalization of about 836.3 billion won, with about 500 million units circulating and trading compared to the total issuance of 1 billion ONT, according to the CoinMarketCap.
The two companies, which have come to work together through the "Accelerating Program," organized by Chainers, one of the country's leading blockchain accelerators, expect to promote quantitative and qualitative growth of the blockchain game market by providing quality game contents to Ontology users.
VX Network is planning to introduce blockchain games prepared by the company to Ontology sequentially in order to publicize and popularize not only the fun of games but also the advantages of blockchain games where users can own and trade their own assets.
Meanwhile, VX Network is planning to launch PlayBits, a blockchain game service platform and specialized exchange, sometime in June to provide transaction of games and blockchain game services to the world, a company official said.
