Asiana Airlines has newly introduced A350 9 aircraft, a next-generation high-efficiency aircraft.
With the arrival of the A350 9 aircraft at Incheon International Airport on June 19, Asiana Airlines held an introductory ceremony for safety and prosperity with its President Han Chang-soo and other executives and employees attending.
With the introduction, Asiana Airlines will have a total of nine A350 aircraft. It will provide more comfortable and safe flight services on its Incheon-Paris, Incheon-Ho Chi Minh routes, as well as long-distance routes such as Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle and London, and mid- and short-distance routes such as Singapore, Hanoi and Osaka.
Asiana Airlines' next-generation flagship A350 is a highly favored type of aircraft that maximizes customer convenience by providing additional services such as air pressure, humidity and lighting improvement in the cabin, compared to the existing mid- to large-sized aircraft.
In addition, it is evaluated as an aircraft with an optimal economy due to its fuel efficiency and the environment-friendly engine design that reduces noise and carbon emissions.
Asiana Airlines plans to keep 10 A350 aircraft this year to strengthen its competitiveness and accelerate its expansion of profitability. In the latter half of this year, it will introduce A321NEO aircraft for the first time among domestic airlines, while operating 30 A350 and 25 A321NEO aircraft by 2025, a company spokesman said.
