A representative of KD Machine, identified by his name Mr. A, the importer of Italian espresso coffee machine "FAEMA," allegedly assaulted and used abusive language against employees.

According to the "Ezy Economy" on July 1, employees who have been unable to endure years of assaults filed a petition with the Seoul Employment and Labor Office in May against KD Machine for unfair dismissal and unfair labor practices. In addition, some employees completed submitting evidence on June 20.

There are considerable voices complaining of damage. On the other hand, the CEO claimed that they slandered himself, saying that there was no assault or abuse.

However, he threatened a reporter who was covering the story, saying, "Get out. If you intervene (which can be interpreted as an article posting), I'll have you included in the lawsuit."

According to multiple informants who worked for KD Machine, the representative A used violence or cited family history if employees did not follow directions well. He also threatened to fire them as often as possible."

According to the media, up until recently, there were about seven employees who were affected by the CEO. Victims claim that KD Machine sells old coffee machines imported from Italy as if they are new ones by replacing labels and other stickers.

According to Mr. B and others, there are two types of FAEMA brand that were imported and sold by KD Machine -- E98 and M27 and the latest one is M27.

They argued that the company is bringing in the old model E98 and applying only M27 stickers to make it look like it is the latest model and sell it for about 500,000 won more expensive.

They also claimed that the CASADIO coffee machine and the UNDICI coffee machine are being sold at a price between 1 million won and 2 million won more expensive with only Nova stickers.

Mr. A denied all the facts. He refuted the media by saying, "The violence and abuse are not true at all. My vindictive staff is slandering me."

Regarding replacing coffee machines, he also refuted the claim, saying, "What's wrong with giving free AS for a year and providing AS for broken products while receiving just cost for parts?" and added, "The contents of the sticker are not true either."
