Sales of Galaxy Note 10s in South Korea surpassed 1 million units in advance reservations.
According to Samsung Electronics on Aug. 20, sales of pre-booking Galaxy Note 10 in South Korea surpassed 1 million units, which lasted 11 days from Aug. 9 to Aug. 19.
The total pre-booking sales of the Galaxy Note 10 are estimated to be around 1.3 million units, more than doubling compared to its predecessor, the Galaxy Note 9.
Samsung Electronics said the Galaxy Note 10 Plus accounts for two-thirds of the total, and that the Galaxy Note 10 Plus 256 GB Aura Glou color model was chosen by consumers who had the most number of colors.
"By releasing two models for the first time in the Note series, more consumers have made advance reservations as consumers have expanded their options," a Samsung Electronics official said.
The new product will be released in South Korea with a compact size of 6.3 inches and the largest display ever with 6.8 inches. Each has a triple and quad camera on the back. It reduced bezel and filled all front of Smartphones with displays. It also features an "air action" function that allows users to digitize writing written in S Pen right away.
Galaxy Note 10 will be opened in advance from Aug. 20, and will be officially released on Aug. 23.
Galaxy Note 10 5G will be released as 256GB model with four colors: Aura Glou, Pink, Black and Red.
