Ssangyong Motor has been expanding its market by recognizing its product prowess by supplying special cars to the public sector in succession in the Britain.
According to Ssangyong Motor on Aug. 22, the company recently signed a contract with Britain's highway traffic corporation Highways England to supply road maintenance vehicles and delivered 32 Rexton Sports (local name Musso) vehicles.
Highways England is the organization responsible for the operation, management, maintenance and repair of highways and major A roads in the UK. Rexton Sports will be used as road management vehicles in northwestern regions (10 zones), southeastern regions (3 zones), and central regions (9 areas).
"As Musso meets all the cost effectiveness, reliability and versatility that our working vehicles need, it will be of great help to maintain road networks and improve customer service," said Nick Harris, operations manager for Highways England.
Earlier in July, the G4 Rexton (local name Rexton) was supplied as an ambulance to the IMT Medical Transport Limited, a British emergency transport service and first aid education institution, in recognition of its excellent driving, spatiality and versatility.
