AmorePacific Group Chairman Suh Kyung-bae called on executives and employees to accelerate their entry into the global market.
AmorePacific Group held a ceremony at its headquarters in Yongsan on Sept. 5 to mark the 74th anniversary of its foundation, attended by some 450 executives, officials from local and foreign suppliers and family members of the award winners.
On the same day, Suh delivered a message to enjoy the change and boldly challenge the changes, emphasizing customer-centered management, accelerating global expansion, and creating sustainable management and a happy workplace.
"We should continue to be a company that has customers at the center in the future," Suh said. "We need to create innovative products that customers want, provide unique customer experiences, and achieve digitalization that adapts to customers' minds."
He then said that the biggest driver of the global cosmetics market over the next five years will be the Asian market, stressing the acceleration of growth in China and India, which have continued to grow steadily.
Suh also said that it will actively pursue environmentally friendly consumption and production, and foster individuals as a growing organization and a good company to work with.
