A350 aircraft of Asiana Airlines

Asiana Airlines will operate two weekly flights to Lisbon in Portugal from Oct. 28 to March 25 next year.

The non-regular flights, the first of their kind in Korea to be operated directly to Lisbon, are available for individual travelers to purchase tickets directly or through travel agencies. Tickets and travel packages can be booked and issued through Asiana Airlines' homepage and major mobile travel agencies.

The latest A350 aircraft with high customer preferences due to the "Economy Smartium" seats and the use of the in-flight WI-FI and mobile phone roaming services will be provided on the route to help passengers travel comfortably and safely.

Lisbon, selected as the "best travel city in Europe" for the third consecutive year at the 19th World Travel Awards, is Portugal's capital and largest port city, and its centuries-old architecture and street images remain intact, allowing one to feel the flavor of the medieval city.

Starting in December, Asiana Airlines will also operate additional non-stop non-regular flights to Cairo in Egypt and Melbourne in Australia. The mysterious city of Cairo and the beautiful natural city of Melbourne have been the destinations that many travelers had to travel via because of the lack of direct flights, but Asiana`s irregular flights are expected to make it more convenient.
